My apple mobile device stops a few seconds after i start it up and my ipod touch cant connect becuz of this!!?

i have an xp desktop computer and when i try to connect my i pod touch to itunes it says apple mobile device is not started soo i go to services and start it up but a few seconds after i start it it stops i have tried everything.. reinstalling the new itunes deleting bonjour quick time everything that i found on goggle that might fix it soo plss help me im sick of it not connecting my ipod touch is version 4 and itunes 6 thats what the current itunes gave me and whats worse is that when i go to watch movies or shows on safari on the webpage mflix.cc.co it also says sever is not connected wtf does that mean plss help me it be much appreciated bcause alot of other people are have this problem too!!
